The concept of fairies are believed to have originated from the Western Eurpean folklore and romance. They differ in power, size, character, habits and appearance.Most of them have powers of a kind that can bring either ill fate or good luck. They are known to be bearer of gifts such as beauty, kindness and wealth to newborn children. Fairies are said to be great lovers of cleanliness and order. They hate miserliness, they are in fact generous and love an open and cheerful character. However, they punish any mortals who steal food from them. They have their own manners and conduct. Politeness and respect are very important to them. They value privacy that they tend to punish eavesdroppers and spies. However, when somebody shows them hospitality and kindness, they often repay them with wishes. They love dancing and singing that their tunes are reputed to be far more beautiful than any tune created by mankind.
Whether they really existed or are just pigments of imagination, fairies will always be adored and liked. With their radiance and glamour and rays of light streaming from them, cute fairy tattoos are undoubtedly very visually appealing as a tattoo design.
