Renato Lisboa – Tatto Artist – São Paulo, Brazil
December 13, 2010 by admin, under Tattoo Artists.
He loved drawing as a child and was always fascinated with tattoos whenever he sees them on people. So by the time he turned 18, Renato Lisboa did not waste any time and started pursuing his dream to become a tattoo artist. That was back in 1996 and he has been tattooing for 14 years already. Check out our interview with him to find out where his passion and creativity for the art is coming from.
1) When do you get inspiration for your designs?
I think my inspiration comes from the desire to always improve and always learn more, and also the confidence our customers have come when the client trusts you and lets his art flow and to pass to your skin, you end up doing an amazing job.
2) How would you describe your style of tattoo? Is there a particular genre that specialize in?
I do not know how to describe my style, because even doing a single drawing on two different people he had not left the same, why it varies from person and she passes you, then you are always changing .. I love working with styles East & Old School ..
3) Based on your experience, what is the latest trend tattoo today? Is there a specific project or theme tat that people are mostly going for these days?Today, here in Brazil, Tattoo’s do a lot in the Old School style, this is a trend that went back and came back very strong. It is good that people are very much subject to the Old School.
4) When people ask you advice on what projects to go for what you say to them. The client has to have full interaction with us, if you ask me a drawing and I do not think it will be fine, I advise you not to do, or else make some changes until we get a good sense, without abandoning much of what the customer wants, but always doing their best to please the customer and get a good result
.
5) What body part is to be your favorite place to paint and why? I guess I have no preference for local tattoo, of course there are places that the application is easier, such as legs, back, arms. Rib is a difficult place to implement and somewhat boring to work.

6) What are your three favorite works more tattoo? Can you tell us something about them.
The three tattoos that I like are:
1) Dragon, which takes the chest and arm, is still in progress, like that work, why, surprised many people with this job, and have not been finalized.
2) A ring with two boxing gloves with the phrase: “If you fall, get up and keep fighting.” I think a big message that serves not just for boxers but for all of us, when we encounter some difficulty, we have to raise my head and go without giving up our get our.
3) A Betty Boop in the thigh, it was a good job and also why did the woman of my life I Love…. (smiles)
There are many other jobs I’ve made and looks great.
