Taurus Tattoos - Designs and Ideas

Taurus tattoos are commonly depicted through its symbol, the bull which can be presented in a variety of classical ways - tribal or Celtic, colored or just plain black ink. Some goes for the bull head while others chose to have the full image of the bull inked on them. Another very popular representation of this tattoo is the glyph of the Taurus zodiac sign. It represents the horns and head of the bull. Symbolically, the glyph is a half-moon forming a cup which rests on the circle of the Sun which is a representation of material power and wealth derived through the force of will.

If you don’t want to go with the traditional Taurus bull tattoos, there are still a multitude of ways to represent your being Taurean. You can play it up with other symbols associated with your signs. Here are some of them:

If you are a Taurus female, you can never go wrong with a flower tattoo. You can incorporate it with the head of the bull by drawing the flowers around it. Or you can just simply use the glyph of the Taurus zodiac and have it inked in blue which is your zodiac color. Since we are talking of the astrological signs, blending any of these symbols with stars would be another interesting option. And if you want to be fully zodiac related in your tattoo, you can have it inked on your neck since that is the part of the body that rules your sign. If you are going for a design on a bigger scale, have it tattooed on your shoulder blade, rib, or back area. The foot, wrist and arm are fitting body parts for a small Taurus tattoo.
Taureans who are born from April 20-May 20 are quiet, gentle people who love the finer things in life. They like arts, they love the smell of freshly baked bread, full bodied wine or the smooth texture of velvet and silk. They are more of the slowly but surely type but they know their own mind and nothing will dissuade them once they are convinced they are on the right track.
